Believe it or not, the project wrap is 3 weeks from now. Judging by the look of the kitchen, things will be picking up pace very quicly. Already, the crown molding has started to go up and the floors are being stained this Thanksgiving weekend.
Over the remaining two and a half weeks we should see a lot of things get done in the kitchen.
Following the floors we should see the installation of the crown molding, trim, wainscoting, balusters for the rear stairs, tables for the island and banquette, a bench, the kitchen desk and the cabinetry and A/V closet in the mudroom. Plus paint! Following that will be remaining details and decorative items, including lighting, bench upholstery and sink fixtures.
Meanwhile, the 3rd floor billiard room is almost done, and several rooms on the 2nd floor have had the floors done and are being painted. With some remaining work in the master bathroom, the house is quickly coming together from top to bottom.
We're already scheduling move dates and we'll stay here for the winter break to move in, get settled and figure out all the systems. Starting to feel like crunch time!
